Apple recently announced the "Macbook", a minimalistic Macbook Air which pushes the boundaries of how slim a laptop could possibly go. I am impressed; however, the sacrifice of having various ports on the laptop such as standard USB is a trade-off. Most of my external devices are still highly dependent on USB. However, I am now inclined to go to a 13' Macbook Pro more than ever because of its latest force touch feature. It's not too big, but it's a larger upgrade than any previous model received in the lineup.
Researchkit was another development. I will say that this is impressive. Apple has made an open-source platform for developers to help the sciences. I will look into this, and I would love to participate in the program to make some cool apps.
Lastly, the Apple watch is going to be released on the 24th of April. I think the pricing is going to offset many users. Apple has introduced a luxury product that may not appeal to the common masses as an everyday object a
